Description
The AMRIT KS7S Harmonium is a premium traditional standing model, thoughtfully designed for
musicians who seek superior tonal clarity and powerful resonance. Featuring 39 keys, this
harmonium provides an extended range, making it ideal for more complex and expressive
performances. It is built using seasoned pine, Himalayan Kail, and spruce wood—materials known
for their durability and excellent acoustic properties. These carefully selected woods contribute to
the instrument’s warm, bright sound and its ability to project clear, resonant bass tones.
The AMRIT KS7S is equipped with two reed banks—bass and male—arranged horizontally to
ensure consistent airflow and tonal balance across all keys. Its tonal output is distinctly bright,
with a pronounced low-end that supports both solo and ensemble playing. With four air stoppers
and three drone knobs, this harmonium offers enhanced control over sound modulation and
sustain, allowing the player to create a more immersive and dynamic musical experience.
Although it does not feature a coupler mechanism, the instrument’s thoughtful layout and build
quality make it highly functional and easy to play. Designed for traditional and devotional use, the
AMRIT KS7S stands out as a powerful, reliable harmonium that delivers both aesthetic beauty and
professional performance.
